State of the multimedia industry in the Philippines


As a newly industrialized country, the Philippines have grown intact with new technologies. TV, Cellular phones, Tablets, Smart phones, Personal computers, etc. Being an archipelago being connected with families is a must. That's why "PINOYS" are so into gadgets nowadays. One of the leading telecommunication company in the Philippine PLDT launched the new Home launching Fibr, with speeds of up to 100 Mbps; and the Dual Core Telpad, the world’s first landline and tablet in one backed by the latest Android OS.

 Even just watching TV we can see how really technology is in a fast growing state. 3D cartoons, Animations, CGI based movies and many more types that television networks have had to go with.  Francis Joseph Cruz a writer in Rappler.com said that 2013 was a year that was touted as one of the best years for Philippine cinema.

Even just listening to music you can hear sounds that no acoustic instrument can make. Using sound or music editors recording companies have taken a new level. Other than old CD and a mix tape they use flashdrive. Mixing their songs in a click of a mouse. Filipino artist uses internet to share their songs in websites like youtube.com. Some of it are even going viral like Jireh Lim's "Magkabilang Mundo"
